The firm was founded by Wils Stauffer and John DeHart. Since day one, the firm has an unblemished record in fair dealing regardless of the circumstances.
Dave joined the firm in 1977 streamlining the entire operation into the computer age. A low key individual, he permits his people to do their job. He stands by his employee’s decisions.
Son Mike Stauffer joined the firm in 1997, bringing another dimension to the firm. His dynamic approach meets the challenge of the always-changing business practices.

Educating the public with honest answers is the firm’s policy. At present the firm is offering seminars on auto and home insurance, and issuing timely information bulletins such as the recent changes instituted by the Canadian Coast Guard for the safe operation of boats. Keeping the clients informed and updated is vital. Membership in the National Society of Agents for Consumer Education and the DeHart & Stauffer Circle of Safety series of books and articles show their commitment to consumer education.
